I have a front row seat watching someone grow up. I have been with this girl from day one (you may be thinking, “duh, you’re her mom”, but if you stop and think about the parent-child relationship, it is quite incredible). At first, all she really did was eat, sleep, and babble. Guess that’s what babies do best. Her personality, her likes and dislikes, those things that make Addie Addie weren’t so clear.

She’s three now and I need these days to slow down. I am so thankful for my camera- I get to freeze time. I have these daily life photos to look back on years down the road and remember the little details that I otherwise would forget.

Addie is the definition of “mommy’s little helper”. She loves to grab her “baking suit” (apron) and bake with me. This past winter our family started a Christmas Cookie Decorating Day tradition. Addie helped me prep by making these sugar cookies.
