Who likes snow… on a sandy beach… in fall? Me.
I was pretty pumped when Greta asked me to do their engagement photos. My husband grew up with Alex and I played volleyball with Greta in college. We were even there the day Alex and Greta met each other. To say the least, it was an honor to be a part of their journey into marriage by taking these photos for them. I still love looking back at my own engagement photos, so I wanted to make sure Alex and Greta would be able to enjoy theirs for years to come as well.
You know how sometimes things simply feel as though they aren’t going “right”? For example, despite forgetting a lens at home (a brand new one too!), a miscommunication about the meeting location (who knew there were TWO Coon Rapids Dams?!), fumbling a bit during the shoot as it was my first time using my new camera (thanks Alex and Greta for your patience), aaaaaand the cold weather (couldn’t feel my fingers by the end), this photoshoot was a BLAST! I was determined not to let the little things get me down. So glad too, because Alex and Greta were naturals and I had so much fun being with them. You guys are going to do the whole being married thing well. I mean, you already have the dog part down, so the rest is easy peasy.
Hope you all enjoy these photos as much as I do!
